Job Description: Remote HCC Medical Coder
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding from patient medical records.
- Review and analyze clinical documentation to assign accurate diagnosis codes.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines (ICD-10-CM, CMS, and client-specific protocols).
- Maintain high accuracy and productivity standards in coding.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams for audits and feedback.
Eligibility Criteria:
✅ Certification: AAPC (CPC, COC, CIC) or AHIMA (CCS, CCS-P) certification is mandatory.
✅ Experience: 1–8 years in medical coding (HCC experience preferred).
✅ Education: Graduates in Life Sciences, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Nursing, or related fields (BSc, BPharm, BPT, BHMS, BDS, etc.).
✅ Technical Requirements: Personal laptop & stable internet connection.
