Job Description: Research Scientist-I (Project)
PGIMER, Chandigarh, is hiring a Research Scientist-I for an ICMR-approved clinical trial titled:
“Early Intervention with Low Molecular Weight Heparin (Enoxaparin) for Prevention of Moderate to Severe Acute Pancreatitis: A Double-Blind Placebo Controlled Investigator Initiated Multicenter Study.”
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of a multicenter clinical trial under ICMR guidelines.
- Coordinate with investigators, collect data, and ensure compliance with study protocols.
- Contribute to patient recruitment, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Work closely with the Department of Gastroenterology on research activities.
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualifications:
- First-class Post Graduate Degree (including integrated PG degrees) OR
- Second-class Post Graduate Degree + PhD
Desirable Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in clinical trials
- Prior work in gastroenterology research
Age Limit:
- Maximum 30 years (as on the last date of application)
Job Type & Salary:
- Temporary position (Initial 1 year, extendable up to 3 years)
- Salary:
- ₹67,200/month (1st & 2nd year)
- ₹70,560/month (3rd year)
