Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our mRNA team, your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading upstream process development for microbial and/or mammalian cell culture systems.
- Performing precise scale-up process calculations and executing experiments in bioreactors.
- Proactively identifying and solving challenges during technology transfer from lab to pilot or commercial scale.
- Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams including downstream processing, analytical development, and quality assurance to ensure integrated process development.
- Maintaining rigorous documentation practices in line with industry standards.
- Contributing to complementary areas like downstream processing and analytical testing to foster a holistic understanding of the drug development process.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications):
- Educational Background: B.Tech./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or Industrial Biotechnology.
- Hands-on Experience: 5 to 8 years of proven, hands-on experience in upstream process development.
- Technical Expertise: Practical experience with microbial and/or mammalian culture bioreactors. Familiarity with scaling processes is crucial.
- Industry Knowledge: Exposure to tech transfer procedures, strong technical documentation skills, and an understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is highly preferred.
- Mindset: A collaborative, innovative, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
