Job Description: QC Executive – Biologics
We are seeking meticulous and experienced QC Analysts to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in our biologics manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document QC testing of biologics products using various analytical techniques.
- Operate and maintain sophisticated QC instruments including HPLC systems, electrophoresis units (e.g., CE-SDS, iCIEF), and Spectrophotometers.
- Conduct ELISA-based test methods (e.g., potency assays, impurity detection) with high precision.
- Execute cell-based bioassays and other activity/potency-based assays to determine product efficacy.
- Utilize colorimetric techniques and operate a microplate reader for various biochemical analyses.
- Handle a microscope for basic cell culture monitoring and analysis.
- Ensure all activities comply with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GDP (Good Documentation Practice) guidelines.
- Participate in QMS (Quality Management System) activities, including investigating OOS (Out-of-Specification) results, deviations, and incidents.
- Manage change control processes and other compliance-related documentation.
- Work systematically with relevant software for data acquisition and analysis.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Educational Qualification: MSc in Biotechnology / Biochemistry or B.Tech in Biotechnology.
- Experience: Must have 2-6 years of executive-level experience in the QC Biologics department of a biopharma company.
- Technical Skills (Must Have):
- Good hands-on experience with HPLC and electrophoretic techniques.
- Strong proficiency in ELISA test methods.
- Proven experience in cell-based test methods.
- Operational knowledge of Spectrophotometer, microplate reader, microscope, and other basic QC instruments.
- Compliance Knowledge: A solid understanding of GLP & GDP compliance requirements is essential.
- QMS Knowledge: Familiarity with QMS elements like OOS, incident, deviation, and change control is required.
- Candidates from biopharma companies will be given preference.
