Job Responsibilities
As a member of the Advanced Analytics team, the individual will be expected to:
- Develop a Deep Understanding of Consumer Offerings: You will build a strong knowledge of IQVIA’s proprietary databases and analytical approaches, using this expertise to effectively support global client-facing stakeholders.
- Manage Data Efficiently: Handle large and small datasets, utilizing the right technologies (Python, R, SAS, etc.) to process and analyze data effectively. You will be expected to become a subject-matter expert in analytics technologies within the team.
- Analytics Projects: Work on a range of advanced analytics projects including segmentation and targeting of pharmacies, physicians, and hospitals, promotional return on investment (ROI) analysis, resource optimization, and price optimization analyses.
- Present Findings: Communicate findings and actionable recommendations clearly from a business perspective, helping clients understand the value of data-driven insights.
- Advanced Machine Learning Algorithms: Apply advanced analytics techniques such as Linear and Non-Linear Regression, Hierarchical Models, Bayesian Methods, Time Series Forecasting, RNN, CNN, LSTM, and NLP.
- AI/ML Proposal Development: Support the creation of data science and AI/ML proposals and present these to leadership. You will also lead discussions to assess the feasibility of AI/ML solutions for business processes.
- Efficient Project Delivery: Ensure timely and efficient delivery of projects, meeting both team and client expectations, while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Qualifications
IQVIA is seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Master’s degree in quantitative sciences such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics, or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields. A strong academic background in quantitative analysis, statistical methods, and theory is essential.
Specialized Skills
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following specialized skills:
