Medical Information Specialist Job Description

As a Medical Information Specialist at EVERSANA, you will play a critical role in supporting the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products. This customer-facing position involves responding to unsolicited medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and payers with scientifically balanced, evidence-based, and non-promotional information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to medical information requests from physicians, pharmacists, nurses, patients, and payers.
  • Research and critically evaluate medical literature to provide accurate responses.
  • Document adverse events and product complaints in compliance with FDA regulations and company SOPs.
  • Handle inquiries across multiple channels such as phone, email, CRM, and chat.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams for product quality complaints.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, therapeutic areas, and client-specific requirements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a patient-centric approach.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Pharm.D, M.Sc, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or any Life Sciences degree.
  • Strong clinical background with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience in medical documentation and adverse event reporting is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
