Job Description: Assistant Manager / Scientist / Associate Scientist – Formulation & Development (Parenterals)
Biovonic Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. is hiring experienced professionals for the role of Assistant Manager, Scientist, or Associate Scientist in the Formulation & Development (F&D) department, specifically focusing on parenteral products. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmaceutical R&D experts with 2 to 10 years of experience to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of sterile injectable formulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop sterile injectable formulations including solutions, lyophilized powders, suspensions, emulsions, liposomes, prefilled syringes, and depot injections.
- Conduct comprehensive literature and patent searches to design innovative and robust formulations.
- Screen excipients, optimize formulation compositions, and implement Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
- Collaborate with Analytical R&D teams for method development, validation, and stability testing.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation such as Product Development Reports (PDR), Master Formula Records (MFR), batch records, risk assessments, and control strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), International Council for Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines, and regulatory requirements from USFDA, EMA, MHRA, WHO, and other authorities.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- M.Pharma or M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields.
- 2 to 10 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation and development, especially parenteral dosage forms.
- Strong knowledge of sterile injectable product development and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with QbD and risk assessment methodologies.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
