Job Description: Pharmacist at ECHS Polyclinic

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) is inviting applications for the contractual position of Pharmacist at its Polyclinic located within Air Force Station Sarsawa, Saharanpur (UP). • Dispensing medications accurately as per prescriptions from medical officers.

About the Company: Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS)

The ECHS Central Organisation functions under the Chief of Staff Committee (COSC) through the Adjutant General (AG) and Director General of Medical Services (Army) at Army Headquarters, Delhi. It is headed by a serving Major General. ECHS operates as an attached office of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (DoESW), under the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:
Candidates must possess one of the following qualification sets:

• Option 1: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized institute.
  • Minimum 03 years of experience is required.
• Option 2:
  1. 10+2 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board.
  2. An approved Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) from an institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
  3. Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • Minimum 03 years of experience is required.

Age Limit:
The contract is for one year, renewable annually based on performance until the candidate attains the maximum age limit as per ECHS rules.

Preference: Ex-servicemen will be given preference during the selection process.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: The selected Pharmacist will receive a consolidated pay of ₹28,100 per month.
• Tenure: This is a contractual position for an initial period of one year, which is extendable based on performance and organizational requirements.

• Important Instructions:
  • Candidates must bring all original documents (certificates, mark sheets, degree, experience letters, Aadhaar Card, etc.) for verification.
  • Ex-servicemen must bring their Discharge Book, PPO, and Service Records.
  • Carry two recent passport-sized color photographs.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  • Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for the interview.
