Job Description: Research Associate / Senior Research Associate – NMR

This role is critical for supporting the company’s analytical research activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for the hands-on operation of NMR instruments and contributing to structural characterization projects.

Department: Analytical (Expertise in NMR)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform acquisition and processing of NMR data for routine final compounds.
• Actively participate in the planning, execution, and report preparation for advanced experiments aimed at detailed structure characterization.
• Ensure the Turnaround Time (TAT) for NMR report releases meets the set targets.
• Conduct periodic maintenance and calibration of NMR instruments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per quality standards.
• Perform quantitative NMR (qNMR) analysis when required.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this NMR role, you should meet the following criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• A Post Graduate Degree in Chemical Sciences or Life Sciences (M.Sc. or M.Pharm).

Experience:

• 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in NMR spectroscopy.
• Experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge & Skills:

• Proven expertise in operating NMR spectrometers.
• Strong understanding of NMR principles for structure elucidation.
• Experience with NMR data processing software.
• Familiarity with instrument maintenance and calibration protocols.
• Knowledge of quantitative NMR (qNMR) will be an advantage.
• Good documentation practices.
