Job Description: Study Nurse
This is a full-time, entry-level position within the Clinical Research department. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting clinical trial activities, ensuring volunteer safety, and maintaining the highest standards of data integrity. Key Responsibilities:
As a Study Nurse at Navitas, your core duties will include:
- Monitoring and recording vital signs of study volunteers as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study protocols.
- Performing IV cannulations and collecting blood samples during study periods and volunteer screening.
- Accurately labeling vacutainers and cryo vials, and verifying all labels for precision.
- Assisting in the management and reporting of any adverse events experienced by volunteers.
- Maintaining stock levels of emergency medicines and updating necessary forms and logbooks.
- Managing the BA/BE and ICU wards, including the upkeep of medical instruments and related documentation.
- Ensuring all study procedures strictly adhere to defined SOPs and handling bio-waste disposal protocols.
- Administering investigational products to volunteers as per the study design.
- Supporting volunteer registration, BMI checks, and other screening activities.
- Entering laboratory values and managing the segregation and storage of clinical samples.
