Job Description: Cell Culture Associate
As a Cell Culture Associate at Oscar Biotech, you will be an integral part of our dynamic research and development team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards in the lab and contributing to innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and maintain mammalian cell culture systems, including both adherent and suspension cultures.
- Execute cell line development activities, including stable cell line generation and transient transfection.
- Handle cell cryopreservation, revival, and routine cell line maintenance with strict aseptic techniques.
- Optimize cell culture media and feeding strategies to enhance cell growth and productivity.
- Conduct essential molecular biology techniques such as PCR, plasmid DNA isolation, and bacterial transformation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and present research findings.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Molecular Biology.
Experience Required:
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture. Candidates from the pharmaceutical or biotech industry will be preferred.
- Fresh M.Sc. graduates with a strong thesis or project work in relevant areas are also encouraged to apply.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and operating cell culture equipment (e.g., biosafety cabinets, CO2 incubators).
