Job Description: Executive, Production-ARPL-PLP AR

Job Summary

This role involves handling and supervising packaging activities in the pharmaceutical production department to ensure on-time delivery of products while maintaining quality compliance and driving cost improvements. As a key team member in Apotex’s Bangalore operations, you’ll contribute to safe, efficient production in a cGMP-compliant environment. The position is based at the facility in Bangalore, KA, IN, 560099, and reports to production seniors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as a team member to achieve production outcomes while working safely and demonstrating organizational values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
  • Adhere to all compliance programs, including Global Business Ethics, Quality policies, Safety and Environment standards, and HR policies.
  • Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping in the production department; follow good documentation practices (GDP) and online documentation.
  • Ensure proper labeling, cleaning of areas per SOPs, calibration, and preventive maintenance of equipment as per schedules.
  • Supervise cleaning and operation activities, batch execution per batch documents/procedures, and material movement in line with protocols.
  • Train yourself and team members on current SOPs, cGMP practices, and documentation before performing tasks.
  • Escalate deviations, non-compliances, or abnormal observations immediately to superiors.
  • Plan daily production activities based on the weekly plan, supervise processes for quality formulations at optimal cost and within timelines.
  • Allocate responsibilities to operators, housekeeping staff, and contract laborers; train them on SOPs, updated procedures, cGMP, and documentation.
  • Coordinate process and cleaning validation activities with QA/QC teams.
  • Foster a culture of trust, employee development, and multifunctional challenges while meeting deadlines to avoid delays or non-compliances.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with regulatory, compliance, and safety requirements; handle additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Education: B.Pharm or M.Pharm in Pharmacy.
