Job Description: Quality Control Executive
As a Quality Control Executive at VerGo Pharma, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and advanced HPLC analysis on raw materials (RM), in-process samples, and finished products to verify purity, potency, and stability.
- Conduct physicochemical and instrumental testing, including dissolution studies, assay determination, and impurity profiling using HPLC, UV, and other analytical techniques.
- Document and review test results in compliance with SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and pharmacopeial standards (e.g., USP, IP, BP).
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results, implement corrective actions, and support stability studies for pharmaceutical formulations.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to maintain laboratory equipment, calibrate instruments, and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
- Assist in method development, validation, and transfer for new products, contributing to the CDMO’s R&D pipeline.
- Prepare reports, maintain batch records, and participate in internal audits to uphold quality control in pharma manufacturing.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in Quality Control in pharma, with proven expertise in HPLC analysis, finished product testing, and raw material (RM) evaluation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in chromatographic techniques (HPLC/GC), wet chemistry methods, and familiarity with lab software like Empower or Chromeleon.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA) is a plus.
