As a Reviewer Selection Editor, you will play a key role in advancing the quality and efficiency of academic research publications, connecting scientific experts with cutting-edge research across the world.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer the peer review process using Scholar One Manuscripts™.
- Identify and recruit international subject matter experts for peer review using databases like PubMed Central.
- Collaborate with the Reviewer Selection Lead and editorial team to maintain high publishing standards.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with editorial workflows.
- Communicate effectively with reviewers and authors to enhance the publication experience.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the editorial workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (M.Sc. / M.S.) in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, or Zoology.
- Strong understanding of academic publishing and the peer review process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and process-driven workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Prior customer-facing or editorial experience is a plus.
