1. Job Role: HCC QA (HCC Quality Assurance)
The HCC QA professional will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of HCC medical coding performed by the coding team. This is a critical role that maintains the integrity and compliance of our coding processes.
2. Job Role: HCC Coder
The HCC Coder will be responsible for accurately reviewing patient medical records and assigning hierarchical condition category codes. This role is essential for accurate risk adjustment coding and revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities for HCC QA:
- Perform quality audits on HCC coding work to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify errors and provide constructive feedback to HCC coders.
- Maintain a deep understanding of HCC coding guidelines and updates.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management.
- Ensure all coding practices adhere to AAPC and AHIMA standards.
Key Responsibilities for HCC Coder:

Requirements & Eligibility

- Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in HCC medical coding.
- Certification: Must be a certified coder through AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) or AHIMA (American Health Information Management Association).
