Job Description: IPDRG CDI Analyst
As an IPDRG CDI Analyst, you will play a critical role in the clinical documentation integrity process, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient records. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of healthcare data and revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth analysis of patient medical records for IPDRG (Inpatient Diagnosis-Related Group) coding.
- Ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation to support DRG assignments.
- Collaborate with clinical and coding teams to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize your deep understanding of clinical coding, patient care, and health information systems.
- Maintain a high standard of coding accuracy and productivity in line with company and regulatory guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria & Required Skills
To be successful in this IPDRG CDI Analyst role, you should possess the following:
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to 10 years of experience in IPDRG or as an IPDRG CDI Analyst.
- Certification: It is mandatory to hold a medical coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, CIC, or any other recognized credential).
- Technical Knowledge: Sound knowledge of IPDRG guidelines and procedures is essential.
- Industry Understanding: A deep understanding of Clinical Coding, Patient Care, and Health Information Systems.
