Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of infectious disease tests. Your duties include:
- Collaborating with diagnostic lab partners to maintain smooth operations for molecular biology tests.
- Coordinating timely upgrades to tests, including DNA extraction and RNA extraction processes.
- Providing technical support and liaison with partners for troubleshooting sequencing challenges.
- Documenting all activities meticulously to support quality assurance in genomics.
Qualifications We’re Seeking
To succeed in this biotechnology job, you’ll need:
- MSc in Genetics or Biotechnology.
- Experience in Molecular Biology, DNA Extraction, RNA Extraction (even basic for freshers).
- Ability to prioritize tasks quickly and execute them effectively.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for partner interactions.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail, and robust documentation abilities.
- Willingness for compulsory rotational shifts (day and night) with 6 days of work and rotational week offs.
- Total experience: 0-6 months, ideal for freshers in the field.
