Job Responsibilities
As a Research Associate specializing in custom synthesis, you’ll play a key role in SynSmart’s projects. Your duties include:
- Planning, setting up, monitoring, and working up chemical reactions independently.
- Understanding client-specified project requirements and synthetic routes.
- Isolating products and optimizing reaction conditions for improved yields and output.
- Purifying compounds using methods like column chromatography and vacuum distillation.
- Conducting literature searches via SciFinder and other engines.
- Preparing final reports and identifying appropriate purification techniques for high-quality compounds.

Qualifications
