Key Responsibilities
As a Research Associate / Research Scientist in IPCA’s F&D team, you will be involved in end-to-end formulation development for regulated markets such as US, EU, and ROW. Key duties include:
Formulation Development & Research
- Conducting literature surveys and patent searches
- Designing experiments using Design Expert or related DoE tools
- Executing pre-formulation studies, trial batches, and optimization studies
Regulatory & Technical Documentation
- Preparing TAD, MMD, BOM, EPO, and related technical documents
- Maintaining online documentation: LNB, logbooks, data records
- Collecting, compiling, and archiving stability study data
Process & Technology Transfer
- Preparing and managing stability batches
- Executing demo batches for tech transfer
- Initiating item code generation and product code approvals
Licensing & Procurement Activities
- Applying for test licenses and import licenses
- Raising indents for API, raw materials, packaging materials, tooling
Required Qualifications
- M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics or related specialization)
- 3 to 8 years of experience in Formulation & Development (regulated markets)
- Strong knowledge of solid orals and liquid solutions
- Experience with stability studies, tech transfer, DoE, documentation
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines, QbD approach
- Hands-on experience with regulated market dossiers
- Understanding of PDR and product lifecycle management
- Strong analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
