Are you an experienced formulation scientist looking for a growth-driven opportunity in the Pharmaceutical Development & Research (PDR) domain? Macleods Pharmaceuticals is hiring skilled professionals for its Formulation & Development department in Mumbai (Andheri).
This role is ideal for candidates with 3–6 years of experience in solid oral dosage forms and exposure to regulated market formulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive literature searches for formulation development.
- Basic understanding of patents, generic formulation development, and regulatory expectations.
- Characterization of marketed formulations as per market requirements.
- Execution of pre-formulation studies.
- Evaluation and optimization of excipients and primary packaging materials.
- Knowledge of essential documents: Master Formula Card, Bill of Materials, Stability Protocols.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes during product development.
- Familiarity with ICH stability conditions and ability to compile analytical data.
- Preparation of PDR documents including stability protocols, development reports, FDR/PDR documentation, and more.
Required Qualifications
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm with 3–6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in solid oral dosage forms for the regulated market is essential.
- Strong understanding of formulation fundamentals and stability testing.
- Good documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
