Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS), a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), invites applications for the Apprentice position at its Mahad facility. This is a unique opportunity for B.Pharm graduates to gain practical experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality assurance, and QEHS compliance under industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
As an Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency, quality standards, and safety protocols, including:
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the department.
- Coordinate, monitor, and control departmental activities as per 21 CFR Part 111 and other regulations.
- Ensure optimum productivity while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Train workmen and subordinates on GMP, SOPs, and company policies.
- Monitor manufacturing and packing processes; perform in-process checks and maintain departmental records.
- Communicate material shortages to the planning department.
- Implement effective sanitation practices and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Identify and report QEHS incidents, non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and FSSC 22000 standards.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Stores, HR, IT, EHS, and Engineering departments.
- Manage waste disposal, manpower allocation, and work permit systems during maintenance activities.
- Contribute to continual improvement projects at the site.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Pharm from a recognized university.
- Skills: Knowledge of GMP, quality systems, production, and safety practices.
- Experience: Fresher or with minimal experience preferred.
