Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Organic/Analytical Chemistry
Experience:
- 2-8 years in Method Development-Peptide (HPLC/GC)
Roles and Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in method development using HPLC/GC for Drug Substances, Key Starting Materials (KSMs), and Intermediate stages. Experience with peptide molecules will be highly preferred. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting forced degradation and mass balance studies.
- Independently troubleshooting day-to-day analytical and instrumental issues.
- Evaluating monographs and conducting equivalency studies.
- Validating HPLC/GC methods as per ICH guidelines.
- Preparing standard test procedures, validation protocols, and standard operating procedures.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Rich experience in method development on HPLC/GC.
- Good knowledge of forced degradation and mass balance studies.
- Ability to troubleshoot analytical and instrumental issues independently.
- Experience in monograph evaluation and equivalency studies.
- Knowledge of HPLC/GC method validation as per ICH guidelines.
- Proficiency in preparing standard test procedures, validation protocols, and SOPs.
