Key Responsibilities
- Processing Requests: Efficiently handle incoming requests for medical records from patients, healthcare providers, and other authorized entities.
- Ensuring Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA and institutional policies to maintain patient confidentiality and data security.
- Maintaining Records: Organize and manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Verifying Authorization: Validate that requestors have proper authorization before releasing sensitive records.
- Problem-Solving: Resolve inconsistencies in patient files and address access-related issues proactively.
Essential Skills
- Attention to Detail: Ensure meticulous accuracy in handling sensitive patient data.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: 1-3 years in US healthcare processes such as Release of Information (ROI), claims adjudication, medical billing, or RCM. Experience in healthcare document retrieval is an added advantage.
