Key Responsibilities
BFS Operator & Production Roles
- Operate and monitor Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) machines for IV fluid production
- Set and maintain machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, filling volume, and sealing time
- Ensure accurate IV fluid filling as per batch specifications
- Conduct in-process quality checks including weight variation and leak tests
- Maintain cGMP and GDP compliance
- Perform batch preparation and dispensing
- Handle CIP, SIP activities, and filter integrity tests
- Manage material reconciliation and movement
Engineering – Water System Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain pharmaceutical water systems
- Maintain pre-treatment units including MGF, Carbon Filter, Sand Filter, Cartridge Filter, and RO
- Replace accessories like vent filters, UV lamps, micron filters, RO membranes, and EDI
- Maintain replacement and maintenance records
- Handle PW, WFI, and PSG systems
- Manage breakdowns and preventive maintenance
Quality Control Responsibilities
- Preparation of STP, SOPs, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with GLP practices
- Conduct method validation, verification, and cleaning validation
- Prepare reagents, indicators, and volumetric solutions
- Maintain stability chambers
- Perform calibration of balances and pH meters
Microbiology Responsibilities
- Media preparation and pouring
- Microbial limit testing of water samples
- Incubator temperature monitoring
- Environmental monitoring and BET testing
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation
