This Pharmacist role in Bangalore focuses on managing Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) and clinical supply logistics for clinical trials while ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP and regulatory guidelines.


Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a critical role in clinical trial supply chain and pharmacy management.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparing protocol-specific pharmacy plans and secondary labeling plans
  • Receiving, verifying, and storing Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) and Non-Clinical Supplies (NCS)
  • Performing labeling and relabeling activities, including expiry extensions and secondary labeling
  • Managing supply and resupply of clinical trial materials to investigational sites under required temperature conditions
  • Preparing shipment documentation and distribution plans
  • Maintaining inventory and documentation for clinical trial supplies
  • Coordinating return, recall, and reconciliation of clinical trial materials
  • Witnessing destruction of unused investigational products
  • Ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, regulatory guidelines, and SOPs
  • Managing calibration and maintenance of clinical supply equipment

Educational Qualifications

Candidates applying for this Pharmacist job in Bangalore should meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s Degree in Life Sciences OR
  • Master’s Degree in Pharmacology

Relevant experience in clinical trial supply management or investigational product handling is preferred.


Required Skills

Successful applicants should demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and Indian regulatory requirements
  • Experience with clinical trial investigational product management
  • Ability to develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience handling internal and external regulatory audits

  • Excellent English communication and documentation skills
  • High level of professional integrity and compliance awareness
