Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical records for Medicare appeals
- Compare medical documentation with CMS guidelines
- Perform coding for Denials, E&M (Evaluation & Management), E&D, and Ancillary specialties
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and coding standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of coding reviews and decisions
- Identify discrepancies and ensure proper coding practices
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Certification required: CPC / CCS or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of medical coding experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Healthcare regulations & compliance
- Medicare guidelines
- Medical terminology & coding systems
- Experience in denials and coding audits preferred
Skills Required
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking
