- Qualification:
- M.Sc. / M.Pharm (Medicinal Chemistry)
- PhD / Post-Doctorate (Preferred)
🔬 Key Responsibilities
- Drive molecule design using strong SAR (Structure-Activity Relationship) insights
- Integrate biology, ADME/DMPK, and computational chemistry for lead optimization
- Lead complex medicinal chemistry projects including:
- Route design & multi-step synthesis
- Troubleshooting synthetic challenges
- Impurity profiling & management
- Perform analytical data interpretation using:
- NMR, LC-MS, HPLC
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Biology, DMPK, CADD)
- Support client interactions, technical documentation, and patent drafting
- Contribute to continuous improvement of lab processes and innovation strategies
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
- Strong expertise in Medicinal Chemistry & Drug Discovery
- Hands-on experience in CRO environment
- Knowledge of:
- ADME/DMPK studies
- Computational drug design tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in handling regulated market projects (US/EU)
- Strong communication skills for client-facing roles
