Key Responsibilities
- Perform process development and optimization for APIs/intermediates
- Execute lab-scale to pilot plant scale-up activities
- Conduct analytical characterization using NMR, Mass Spectrometry & IR
- Ensure GxP compliance and safety standards in R&D operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements
Key Deliverables
- Preparation of technology transfer packages
- Development of impurity profiling & analytical reports
- Creation of client reports and technical presentations
- Drive innovation and continuous process improvements
Qualifications & Experience
- M.Sc (Organic Chemistry) / PhD / relevant Life Sciences degree
- 2–8 years of experience in Process R&D (CDMO preferred)
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms
- Hands-on experience in analytical techniques (NMR, IR, Mass Spec)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Skills
- Expertise in process scale-up & tech transfer
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting ability
- Familiarity with GMP/GxP environments
- Effective client communication & reporting skills
