Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates for the SynSmart Custom Synthesis Jobs 2026 will be responsible for:
- Planning, setting up, monitoring, and workup of chemical reactions
- Working closely with senior chemists on research projects
- Operating laboratory instruments like Combiflash and Rotary Vapors
- Purification of compounds using:
- Column Chromatography
- Vacuum Distillation
- Crystallization
- Characterization and identification of compounds using:
- MS
- 1H NMR
- Writing technical reports and performing scientific data analysis
- Maintaining laboratory notebooks and documentation
- Conducting literature searches using SciFinder and scientific databases
- Handling regular laboratory maintenance and chemical inventory
- Independently setting multiple reactions daily
- Staying updated with scientific literature and industry advancements
