Synthesis R&D Scientist
Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry/Chemistry with 1–5 years of experience.
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry/Chemistry with 9–15 years of industrial experience.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage drug discovery and medicinal chemistry projects for global pharmaceutical clients.
- Design and execute complex multi-step organic synthesis reactions.
- Perform synthesis from milligram to gram scale efficiently.
- Interpret analytical data including:
- NMR
- LC-MS
- HPLC
- IR
- Design novel molecules for hit identification, hit-to-lead, and lead optimization.
- Mentor and guide junior scientists and project teams.
- Review scientific literature, patents, technical reports, and experimental data.
- Maintain high scientific quality standards while ensuring timely project completion.
- Support proposal preparation and participate in client presentations.
- Provide regular technical and project progress updates.
Required Skills
