Research Associate (BR-QC) Responsibilities

Selected candidates will support quality and compliance activities within the Bio-Research department.

Analytical Data & Documentation Review

  • Review raw data forms and chromatograms generated during method development, method validation and project sample analysis.
  • Review bulk spiking checklists and Excel worksheets.
  • Verify concentration data and related analytical calculations.
  • Review SOPs, protocols and applicable study documentation.
  • Review method validation reports and analytical study reports.
  • Review temperature and humidity monitoring records maintained by the BR department.

Training & GLP Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain training matrices and training plans.
  • Prepare job descriptions and act as a moderator where required.
  • Conduct SOP training for new employees.
  • Support implementation of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements.
  • Ensure applicable regulatory guidelines are effectively implemented within the BR department.
  • Provide SOP and regulatory guidance to BR personnel.

Equipment & Qualification Documentation

  • Review and maintain IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
  • Review instrument and equipment calibration reports.
  • Review preventive maintenance records.
  • Review daily calibration records and laboratory logbooks.

Quality Systems & Audits

  • Participate in or conduct internal system audits.
  • Review and support investigation of CAPA, deviations and OOS.
  • Prepare or coordinate responses to sponsor and regulatory queries.
  • Support quality and regulatory compliance activities within the department.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • M.Sc, B.Pharm or M.Pharm qualification.
  • 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in bio-research, bioanalytical research, quality control or a related regulated laboratory environment will be relevant.
  • Familiarity with analytical data review, chromatograms, SOPs and regulatory documentation is advantageous.
  • Understanding of GLP, CAPA, deviation and OOS processes will be useful for this position.
