National Health Mission Hiring For Pharmacist

The District Health Society, North & Middle Andaman, has invited applications for Pharmacist positions under the National Health Mission (NHM) programmes. Available Pharmacist Positions

1. Pharmacist (Allopathy – RBSK)

Salary: ₹21,632

Essential Qualifications:

• Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Pharmacy Council under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

Desirable Qualification:

• Experience in the relevant field.

2. Pharmacist (Homoeo)

Salary: ₹21,632

Essential Qualifications:

• Class XII passed with Science subjects from a recognized board or institution.
• Degree or Diploma in Homoeopathic Pharmacy, or its equivalent, with essential subjects such as Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Homoeopathic Materia Medica and Organon of Medicine from a recognized institute.

Alternatively, candidates may hold a Certificate Course in Homoeopathic Pharmacy from a recognized institution, along with a minimum of 3–5 years of experience dispensing homoeopathic medicines in a recognized hospital or dispensary.

Desirable Qualification:

• Experience in dispensing homoeopathic medicines.

Responsibilities and Work Requirements

The recruitment notice does not provide a detailed list of duties for either position. However, candidates must be willing to work in remote or hard-to-reach areas and may be required to travel to such areas as directed by the competent authority.

Eligibility and General Conditions

• Candidates must meet the essential educational and professional eligibility criteria for the relevant post.

Names of candidates meeting the eligibility criteria may be displayed on the notice board of the District Health Society, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mayabunder, and may also be published in The Daily Telegram and on the official web portals of the Andaman & Nicobar Administration and District Administration.

A waiting list will also be prepared and will remain valid for one year, subject to applicable rules and requirements.
