Malabar Cancer Centre-Post Graduate Institute of Oncology Sciences and Research (MCC-PGIOSR) is an autonomous institution under the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala. Established in 2001, MCC-PGIOSR is located in Kodiyeri, Thalassery, Kannur District. Job Details
Position: Clinical Trial Coordinator
Project: To establish a ready network of clinical trial units across the National Cancer Grid to promote multi-centric collaborative research in the field of drug and device development.
Funding Agency: Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), Government of India.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualifications: Pharm.D, M.Pharm, BDS, MPH, MSc (Biostatistics), MSc Clinical Research, MSc Nursing, MSc Life Science, or BTech Biotechnology with a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Research.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical trials, research projects, or industry-supported trials.
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as of 1st January 2025.
- Remuneration: Rs. 30,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating clinical trials. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the planning and execution of clinical trials.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Collaborating with research teams and stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
- Contributing to the advancement of oncology research.
Terms and Conditions
- The position is purely temporary, with a tenure of one year or until the project’s completion.
- The role is based at Malabar Cancer Centre, Thalassery.
