Key Responsibilities

Local PV System Implementation & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to local and global pharmacovigilance regulations.
  • Oversee PV operations, identify compliance risks, and implement corrective actions.

Integration of Global & Local Safety Priorities

  • Align global safety strategies with local business objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for internal and external safety-related matters.

Physician Engagement & Real-World Safety Insights

  • Collaborate with treating physicians to gather safety data and implement actionable solutions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Drive collaboration across medical affairs, regulatory, and clinical teams to enhance patient safety.
  • Leverage global best practices to improve safety frameworks.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead an agile, self-managing PV team with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and skill development.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong PV Expertise: Deep understanding of global and local pharmacovigilance regulations.
  • Leadership & Strategic Thinking: Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate effectively, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Knowledge of patient journeys, healthcare systems, and integrated care solutions.
  • Educational Background:
    • MD, HCP (Healthcare Professional), or PhD in Life Sciences
    • Master’s in Public Health or Pharmaceutical Medicine (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Experience:
    • Significant affiliate-level PV experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
    • Prior roles in Medical Affairs or Clinical Operations (advantageous).
