Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure documentation accuracy.
- Assign and sequence CPT and ICD-10 codes for medical services.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare policies and HIPAA regulations.
- Work with billing teams to resolve claim payment issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and coding software.
Eligibility Criteria:
- CPC (AAPC) or CCS (AHIMA) certification mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of medical coding experience (IP DRG, OP, Denials, SDS).
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
- Surgical coding experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
