Job Description
The Department of Chemistry at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, invites applications for the position of Project Associate for a research project sponsored by Sustainable Biosolutions Pvt Ltd., India.
Project Title:
“Performance Evaluation of SUSBIO ECOTREAT Advanced Prefabricated Sewage Treatment Plant and IoT System”
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct water quality analysis and treatment studies.
- Evaluate the performance of a 5 KLD SUSBIO Ecotreat STP using conventional and IoT-based methods.
- Assess tertiary treatment processes, energy consumption, and by-product analysis.
- Ensure compliance with CPCB (Central Pollution Control Board) and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to research publications and project reports.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology, or Biotechnology
- OR
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Technology, or Biotechnology
- Candidates must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, or other national-level exams (e.g., DST, DBT, DRDO, ICAR, etc.).
Fellowship & Benefits:
- ₹30,000 per month + 16% HRA (if hostel accommodation is not availed).
- Hostel accommodation (subject to availability).
- Opportunity to apply for a PhD program at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus (as per institute rules).
