Job Description

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is hiring a Consultant (Scientific/Technical) for its Central Coordination Unit of Intramural Division in New Delhi. This is a temporary contractual position with an initial engagement of one year, extendable up to three years based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support intramural research and institutional coordination.
• Assist in research grant management.
• Collaborate with national and international agencies for biomedical research.
• Ensure compliance with ICMR’s research policies.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• MSc / B.Tech / BE / MCA / MPH / B.Pharm / BAMS / BSMS / MD in AYUSH or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience.
• PhD holders get 4 years of experience (regardless of PhD duration).
• Note: MPH/M.Tech/ME/M.Pharm does not count as experience.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 55 years (Age relaxation as per ICMR norms).

Salary:

• ₹80,000 per month (Consolidated).
