Job Description
The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, is seeking a qualified Editorial Assistant for the International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Nanotechnology (IJPSN) under Prof. Bikash Medhi, Chief Editor, Department of Pharmacology.
This is a temporary, contract-based position, ideal for candidates with a strong background in Pharmacology or Life-Sciences who are interested in scientific writing, research, and editorial work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the editorial process of the journal.
- Reviewing and proofreading scientific manuscripts.
- Coordinating with authors and reviewers.
- Ensuring adherence to publication guidelines.
- Managing submissions and maintaining records.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- First Class Master’s Degree in Pharmacology / Life-Sciences from a recognized university.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in research and scientific writing.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, LaTeX, reference management tools).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Age & Pay Scale:
- As per the Journal rules (details will be shared with shortlisted candidates).
