Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize synthetic routes for New Chemical Entities (NCEs) and APIs.
- Conduct process optimization to improve yield, purity, and cost-efficiency.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, NMR, IR, and LCMS for analytical method development.
- Troubleshoot process issues and support scale-up & tech transfer.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, QMS, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: M.Sc / Ph.D in Organic Chemistry / Process Chemistry.
- Experience:
- Ph.D: 2–5 years in process R&D, API synthesis, or CDMO.
- M.Sc: 3–4 years in multistep organic synthesis.
- Skills:
- Expertise in scale-up, route scouting, and analytical techniques.
- Knowledge of ICH guidelines, QbD, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
- Note: Candidates must have completed at least 1 year in their current organization.
