Job Description (Key Responsibilities)
- Develop and optimize synthetic routes for target molecules and intermediates.
- Perform multi-step organic synthesis with high yield and purity.
- Purify compounds using chromatography, crystallization, and other advanced techniques.
- Characterize synthesized compounds using NMR, Mass Spectrometry (MS), IR, HPLC.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards in the lab.
- Maintain accurate lab records and prepare technical reports/presentations.
- Conduct literature searches using scientific databases and reference platforms.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in organic synthesis & medicinal chemistry.
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques (NMR, HPLC, MS, IR).
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) & safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced research environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
