ACTREC Hiring Clinical Trial Coordinator

ACTREC is a part of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), one of India’s leading institutions for cancer treatment and research. Established as the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC) in 1952 and later renamed the Cancer Research Institute (CRI), ACTREC is dedicated to advancing cancer research and providing the highest standards of medical education and patient care. The institution’s work focuses on basic, clinical, and translational cancer research.

Job Responsibilities

As a Clinical Trial Coordinator at ACTREC, your role will primarily involve:

  • Coordinating and overseeing clinical trials under the project titled “Basic & Translational Research in Cancer.”
  • Ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines, protocols, and regulations during the execution of clinical trials.
  • Managing patient recruitment, documentation, and data management processes.
  • Liaising with different departments to ensure smooth functioning of clinical research operations.
  • Monitoring trial progress and reporting any issues to senior management.
  • Ensuring that all trial documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and available for audit purposes.

Required Qualifications

The following educational qualifications are mandatory for this role:

  • Post Graduation (M.Pharm, MSc Life Sciences/Biotech/Zoology/Botany) with a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Research.
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of work experience in Clinical Research.

Note: M.Sc. degrees obtained after a one-year course will not be considered for this position.

Salary and Duration

  • Consolidated Salary: Rs. 40,000/- per month (based on work experience).
  • Duration: Initial appointment for 6 months, extendable based on project needs.
