Job Description: Senior Project Assistant
Project: “Rapid and Affordable Diagnostics for Stratifying Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (RADICAL)”
This is a four-year ICMR-funded study aimed at developing nanopore sequencing-based diagnostics for acute leukemia. The project involves:
- Fusion detection
- Low-pass whole genome sequencing
- Methylation-based classifiers using AI/ML
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trial coordinator between registrars, oncologists, and laboratories.
- Identify and direct childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) patients for study enrollment.
- Refer eligible patients to concerned faculty for consent and trial participation.
- Work at Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Parel, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc in Life Sciences OR
- M.Sc in Clinical Research or equivalent.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
- Salary: ₹30,600/- per month (consolidated).
- Job Duration: 6 months (extendable based on performance).
