Advantmed, a leading healthcare analytics and medical record review company, is hiring an experienced Manager – Medical Coding Operations for its Pune office. This is a work-from-office, day shift opportunity for senior professionals with deep expertise in medical coding operations, team management, and client SLA delivery.
This role is ideal for candidates with 10+ years of medical coding experience, including 4+ years in a leadership or managerial role, who are looking to advance their careers in healthcare operations management.
Key Responsibilities – Medical Coding Operations Manager
- Initiate, stabilize, and manage assigned medical coding projects efficiently
- Design and implement KPIs to improve collaboration and operational effectiveness
- Monitor daily project performance and take corrective actions when required
- Ensure strict adherence to client SLAs, quality benchmarks, and productivity targets
- Manage hiring, team allocation, and staff movement across multiple projects
- Coach, mentor, and motivate medical coding teams for high performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet organizational objectives
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
Graduation or Post-Graduation in
DPharm / BPharm / MPharm / BSc / MSc / BTech / BHMS / BAMS - Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in Medical Coding
- At least 4 years in a management or leadership role
- Certifications (Mandatory):
- CRC / CPC or equivalent certification from AAPC or AHIMA
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proven track record of meeting SLAs and project targets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching abilities
