Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Research Fellow, you will:
- Conduct protein expression and purification experiments.
- Perform ELISA and other immunological assays.
- Apply molecular biology techniques and manage in-vitro culture systems.
- Assist in designing and executing experiments for the DST-funded project.
- Document research findings and prepare reports for submission.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the JRF position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Essential:
- A first-class M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, or Microbiology.
- Successful clearance of NET or GATE examination.
Desirable:
- Hands-on research experience in:
- Protein expression and purification.
- ELISA and immunological assays.
- In-vitro culture techniques and molecular biology.
Desired Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Proficiency in scientific writing and data presentation.
