As an Associate Microbiology at Baxter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of microbiology lab operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), investigation reports, and quality documents related to microbiology.
- Reporting non-conformities to Supervisors and Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
- Initiating changes in processes, equipment, or facilities as per operational requirements.
- Timely closure of CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), NCR (Non-Conformance Reports), LIR (Laboratory Investigation Reports), and other quality documents.
- Assessing the impact of document change control (DCR) and change control management (CCM) across functions.
- Conducting investigations on identified non-conformities and implementing corrective actions.
- Training personnel on microbiology lab procedures and compliance requirements.
- Handling QMS (Quality Management System) documentation and ensuring closure within defined timelines.
- Ensuring compliance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and escalating violations to Supervisors.
- Coordinating with QA, QC, QMS, Audit, and Compliance teams for audits and CAPA implementation.
- Preparing SOPs, protocols, standard testing methods, and specifications as per regulatory guidelines.
