Pharmacist Job Description at BARC
- Position: Pharmacist (Adhoc / Locum basis)
- Number of Posts: 5
- Location: BARC Hospital, Anushakti Nagar, Mumbai
- Salary: Approx. Rs. 38,000/- per month (Consolidated Rs. 16,720 + DA)
- Contract Duration: 178 days (Not more than 89 days at one time)
- Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as of interview date
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medicines accurately as per prescriptions.
- Maintaining records of medicines dispensed using computer systems.
- Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
- Assisting in inventory management and stock verification.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualification:
- HSC (10+2)
- 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy
- 3 months training in Pharmacy
- Valid registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council
- Desirable:
- Experience in pharmacy-related work preferred
- Basic computer knowledge is essential for record-keeping
