Job Responsibilities

The role of the Pharmacist at Tripura University entails:

  • Dispensing medications and providing relevant information to patients or staff.
  • Ensuring proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of prescriptions and inventory.
  • Assisting in the management of the pharmacy’s operations, including handling inquiries and guiding the correct usage of medications.
  • Collaborating with medical staff to ensure the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.

Qualification and Experience

To qualify for the Pharmacist position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
    • Alternatively, candidates with a D. Pharm degree and two years of relevant experience in service are eligible.
  • Registration: Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act.
  • Age Limit: The maximum age for applying is 27 years.
