Primary Responsibilities
As a Senior Executive – HIM Services, you will be responsible for:
- Performing accurate ED Facility and E/M coding in compliance with current guidelines
- Reviewing clinical documentation to ensure appropriate code assignment
- Applying CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding standards
- Ensuring adherence to coding compliance, payer policies, and regulatory requirements
- Meeting productivity and quality benchmarks in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborating with internal QA and audit teams to resolve coding discrepancies
Required Qualifications & Skills
- CPC Certification (AAPC) – Mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in ED Facility/E&M coding
- Strong understanding of coding guidelines, modifiers, and compliance rules
- Experience working with US healthcare coding standards
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
