Are you a postgraduate student in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields? The CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu, is inviting applications for the position of Student Internship Fellow under the DST-SERB Scientific Social Responsibility Policy. This is a unique opportunity to work on a prestigious project titled “Development of Preclinical Candidates based on Targeting WNT/β-catenin Signalling Pathway (GAP-3159)”.
About CSIR-IIIM
Established in 1941 as the Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State, the institute was later taken over by the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) in 1957. Renamed as the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) in 2005, the institute has been a pioneer in natural product-based drug discovery and integrative medicine research.

- Duration: 2 Months (8 Weeks)
- Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 5,000/-
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- Candidates in the 1st or 2nd year of their Post-Graduation (M.V.Sc./M.Tech Biotechnology/M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Zoology, or related subjects).
- 4th year Graduation students (B.Tech./B.V.Sc.) from a recognized university are also eligible to apply.
Desirable Qualifications
- Research experience in cell culture activities and animal studies.

Selection Process
- Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications.
- The list of shortlisted candidates and interview details will be displayed on the CSIR-IIIM website (iiim.res.in) by 19th February 2025 (Wednesday).
- Interviews will be conducted via MS Teams.

- The internship duration is strictly 2 months and cannot be extended.
