Job Purpose
As an Intern – Narrative Writer in Global Scientific Communications (GSC), you will support the team in scientific documentation, data integrity, and clinical trial disclosures. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about medical writing, clinical research, and healthcare communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in scientific editing, document preparation, and clinical trial registry updates.
- Learn regulatory and compliance guidelines for medical writing.
- Support quality checks for accuracy in scientific documents.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance therapeutic area knowledge (e.g., neuroscience, oncology, immunology).
- Develop project management skills to meet deadlines.
- Improve scientific communication for diverse audiences.
- Gain expertise in document management systems and databases.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Science, Health Communications, Public Health, Health Economics, or related fields.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Must complete a writing exercise (DI Exercise) as part of the selection process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD, MD, PharmD, or advanced degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Health Outcomes.
- Experience in clinical research, health economics, or regulatory writing.
- Knowledge of clinical trial processes, pharmacoeconomics, or epidemiology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
